Connecty and Mutual Atelier complete the design phase 1 of The A, lifestyle beach resort in Phan Thiet, Vietnam

Project Management firm, Connecty recently completed the design management phase 1 of a lifestyle beach resort called The A, designed by architecture firm Mutual Atelier, co-founded by two formers Vo Trong Nhia Architects.

The A Lifestyle Beach Resort is the first hospitality development project from Alvin Phan, Vietnamese real estate entrepreneur who built his wealth by trading lands across the country.
The beach resort is a 50-room complex located next to the main beachfront site of Novaworld Phan Thiet.

The A Concept

The A Lifestyle Beach Resort has been designed for open engagement experience over private consumption. It is a place where the celebration of Vietnamese culture discovery is front and centre.

To achieve this, the architecture of the resort is round open platform that is elevated by concrete porticals above the ground. The ground floor is the centre piece of the resort that includes a stage for a range of programs such as festival celebrations, cultural events, and day-to-day leisure activities that welcomes everyone to experience Vietnamese culture.

The open round shape architecture has been designed to follow the the Feng Shui belief of the owner, in where wealth flows into the resort through the fish pond in the middle of the resort.

Greenery prominents all over the concrete structure. Where possible, the team also aimed to used recycled and locally sourced materials such as some feature walls made of the orange color soil from Phan Thiet.

The A Facilities

The A Lifestyle Beach Resort offers 50 private guest rooms including 19 superiors, 28 deluxe and 3 suites. The A features a series of public spaces with infinity pool, VIP lounge, restaurant, spa and jacuzzis for guests on the rooftop.

Alongside guest amenities, it has a number of areas that are accessible to the public including an exhibition space, beach bar and a outdoor stage for hosting cultural events.
